Step Back in Time on the Kerry Way: History, Nature, and Breathtaking Views!
Journey through history and nature on this captivating walk along the Kerry Way. Our path winds past the ancient Kilcrohane Church and cemetery, shrouded in whispers of the past. Stand in awe of spectacular views of Castlecove and beyond, a panorama fit for a postcard.
We might also catch sight of the mystical natural amphitheater of Staigue Fort, a silent sentinel standing proud for over 1,500 years. This is a detour for another day, however, as we ascend a final hill, breathing in the fresh air, before descending to the lush embrace of Beale Forest, marking the end of our walk.
Be prepared for adventure! The trail can be boggy at times, so waterproof boots or shoes are essential. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
After our invigorating walk, we’ll drive back to Sneem. Join us for a fantastic day out filled with history, nature, and unforgettable scenery!
